Coleman was from Lancashire and born in the town of Blackpool. She graduated from Arnold School Blackpool, where she was able to get straight As in A-levels. When discussing her character from Emmerdale, Coleman expressed regret for not attending a university. At the time of her schooling, Coleman was a member of a theatre company called In Yer Space with whom she was a part of the Edinburgh Festival in the play Crystal Clear. At the 2009 British Soap Awards she was nominated in categories such as the Best Actress Sexiest Female and the Best Dramatic Performance category. Coleman was nominated for Best Actress at the TV Choice Awards. Steven Moffat of Doctor Who announced in a news meeting held on the 21st of March, 2012, that Coleman would be replacing Karen Gillan after she and Arthur Darvill had left. Moffat has decided to put her in the role because she has the best chemistry with Smith. Additionally, she was quicker than him. Eva Larue..............................Eva LaRue is an American actor and model. She has been in the industry of entertainment since 1987. The most well-known of her roles was the television. Eva has appeared in a number of television parts, however Dr. Maria Santos from All My Children as well as Detective Natalia Boa Vistas from CSI Miami have stood out. The latter gave Eva two nominations for the 'Daytime Emmy.' She also got to show off her artistic side by performing music. Eva is an entrepreneur and also an actress. Eva has had three marriages and has a daughter from her second husband.
